Doug Menuez has launched a blog where he’ll be sharing, as he puts it, “stories from the road that usually only my friends and family would be subjected to at dinner.” Self-deprecation aside, Menuez’s intriguingly named “Go Fast, Don’t Crash” is part memoir, part inspiration. From reflecting on his shoot with the late actress Natasha Richardson in the late 1980s to rhapsodizing about Alfred Stieglitz and his fellow Photo Secessionists to ruminating about the enduring appeal of the still image, Menuez serves up thoughtful, candid prose for pros and aspiring photographers alike.
