We’re always honored when one of our photographers receives recognition from the advertising and marketing industry, but we were particularly intrigued to learn that Story Worldwide named Nadav Kander “Photographer of the Week.” Headquartered in the U.K. and with offices in New York, Story Worldwide is a global marketing agency whose premise is that consumers respond best to “desired content.” The agency maintains that we live in a post-advertising age, and on their blog (which is named, appropriately, Post-Ad), they noted that Kander’s vision “translates easily to advertising and editorial assignments.” And the photographs they go on to highlight, which range from landscapes to portraits of actress Sophia Loren and President Obama, demonstrate that when it comes to getting people’s attention, strong work is always desired content.
