Kiev and the sexy-enigmatic Los Angeles portrayed in David Drebin’s photographs couldn’t be more different from each other, and yet there is clearly a mutual attraction. Last night, the Brucie Collection gallery hosted an opening-night party for Drebin’s exhibition “Dreamscapes and Girls,” and it was a full house as fashionable gallery goers and art journalists mingled among the glittery images. A shiny world of glamour and vice, straight from the West Coast. A Hollywood fantasy that goes down as easily as free champagne. “Dreamscapes and Girls” will be on view through June 23.
