Martin Sigal’s extraordinary photographs of Argentina

I’ve never been to Argentina, but Martin Sigal‘s photographs make me want to book a flight there immediately, if not sooner. The images below are selections from a worldwide tourism campaign Martin shot that just came out. The tagline: “Argentina beats to your rhythm.”

“We went from the very south of Argentina, which is Ushuaia, to the very north, the Jujuy province,” explains Martin, who’s based in Buenos Aires. “I’ve been taking pictures in glaciers, waterfalls, deserts, forests, marshes, salt flats, red mountains… What a great and huge assignment!!!”

He continues, “We took, like, 25 planes and lots of vans and long walks. We shot in temperatures under 5 degrees Fahrenheit all the way up to 104 degrees. We’ve shot at altitudes of 14,700 feet. Everything was natural light. What a pleasure! And we had the chance to meet warm, interesting people all along the trip.”

Without further ado…

Please, book a flight…now!!!!! Martín reflects honestly and vivid, the magic that nature left in Argentina. And just think …in between each photos there are transition landscapes and inhabitants that make their life in such enviroments…Thanks Martin for your contribution to our country.
