To promote a special holiday collection she created for online retailer TheCorner.com, fashion designer Ann Demeulemeester commissioned Erik Madigan Heck to make a short 8mm film featuring the clothing. He shot the dreamlike film, seen below, in Antwerp.
“It’s beautiful how a human being brings a garment to life,” Demeulemeester told Style.com. “The inexplicable mystery and contrast of a man and a woman and how they intrigue. My aim has always been to incorporate authentic feelings in my work. Erik Madigan Heck’s short movie is a beautiful expression of this.”
