On March 22, a new shopping mall is opening in Salt Lake City. But it’s not your usual collection of shops and kiosks. City Creek Center, which will anchor one of the nation’s largest mixed-use downtown redevelopment projects, boasts a retractable glass roof, a creek, and a pedestrian skybridge. That’s in addition to more than 90 stores and restaurants, including Tiffany & Co., Michael Kors, and Coach.
And the ad campaign for City Creek is just as ambitious, comprising stills by Steven Lippman—including ones that will wrap around buildings in downtown Salt Lake City—and a 30-second spot that he directed. The agency was StruckAxiom, which AdAge named Small Agency of the Year, Southwest, last year, and the production for both stills and motion was handled by 3 Star Productions. Here’s a look at the campaign, along with the credits.
