For the April issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Derek Blasberg talked with Timothy Greenfield-Sanders about the photographer-director’s new documentary, About Face: The Supermodels, Then and Now. The film, which features interviews with a who’s who of the most photographed women from the past five decades, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January and will make its broadcast debut this summer on HBO.

“These women are complex creatures; they’re smart women who survived in a tough business,” Timothy tells Harper’s Bazaar. “In front of the camera they come alive. But more important, they’re beautiful on the inside and out.”
