In the latest issue of AnOther magazine, the Collections Digest really lives up to its tagline, “Unique documentation of men’s and women’s fashion collections.” Coverage of the spring/summer 2013 collection from London-based men’s and women’s label SIBLING is provided by the design studio’s 5-year-old English bull terrier, Mycroft.
“In the week ahead of SIBLING’s debut runway show during the inaugural London menswear collections,” write the editors, “Mycroft kept a diary exclusively for AnOther. From studio visits, mishaps, meals and sleeps to the creation of their collection entitled Revolution…”
The magazine selected Jason “Giblin” Hindley to shoot this unconventional story, which features colorful still lifes and environmental portraits, not to mention some irresistible dog-as-designer portraits. He worked with commissioning editor Laura Bradley and photo editor Zoe Maughan.
AnOther magazine also asked Jason to shoot backstage at men’s Fashion Week and will be posting this images soon at their website. Till then, here’s a look at “The SIBLING Dog Diary.”
