For a new campaign for Tampax, called Tampax Radiant, Leo Burnett commissioned Liz Von Hoene to photograph portraits of three highly individual women: Philadelphia-based “yarnbomber” Jessie Hemmons (you can see some of her colorful handiwork at her site, ishknits.com); Los Angeles balloon artist Jihan “Jihanimo” Zencirli (the website of this self-proclaimed “balloonatic” is geronimoballoons.com); and Katie Sokoler, a Brooklyn-based “freelance photographer, actress, street artist and fun maker” who writes the blog Color Me Katie.
