Jorg Badura’s supermoon self-portrait a winner in PDN’s Faces contest

Jorg Badura was shooting in Patagonia during the supermoon this past May, and that evening at midnight, he set up his camera by Glacier Geike Lake and shot what he calls a “lunar self-portrait.” And now PDN has announced that Jorg’s photo is among the winners in the Faces contest self-portrait category. Congratulations, Jorg!

This “Lunar Self-Portrait” by Jorg Badura is a winner in PDN’s Faces contest. Here’s the text Jorg submitted with the photo: “Photographed during a project in Southern Patagonia, Chile. The beauty of Glacier Geike Lake was stunning, there was a certain kind of curiosity, and later it became clear that, like the icebergs in that lake, I too will vanish.”

Jorg’s photo as seen in the September issue of PDN.
