NBC‘s Last Call With Carson Daly did a segment on Michael Muller and his shark photography that aired on Friday night. In it, Michael talks about how close he gets to the sharks (“I tickle them”), how his years doing underwater shoots of Olympians for Speedo ad campaigns informed his approach to lighting, and how his fear of sharks—he grew up surfing Southern California, where great whites are not uncommon—inspired him. “Anything that you’re fearful of, in my opinion, you gotta face it,” he says.
