I love the Richard Avedon interview talking about his first, or one of his first fashion shoots. He hated the resulting work, and SENT THE MONEY BACK. Completely in touch with his intuition. He also cared deeply about the work he wanted to create to represent his work. It takes a brave photographer to say........no.......not good enough. And yes, he went on to be a superstar in our world. I love this story, and wonder if a photographer would survive in today's world, doing the same.....
