We’re excited to announce that Stockland Martel has just signed automotive, conceptual, and landscape photographer Tobias Hutzler. Tobias, who is based primarily in New York but travels frequently to Southern California, is an inventive young photographer who presents familiar subjects in striking new ways.
“Tobias has a unique perspective on everything he looks at,” says Maureen Martel. “And it goes beyond the concrete. His work almost feels spiritual, in a way.”
Tobias’ work is produced primarily in camera, whether he’s shooting cars, landscapes, or conceptual imagery, but he also has the know-how to produce authentic-feeling imagery in post. Both approaches, high- and low-tech, intrigue him. “I am constantly shooting,” says Tobias, “trying to explore and push the boundaries of the digital medium.”
Here’s an overview of his portfolio. See more at stocklandmartel.com/talent/tobias-hutzler/photography or at his website, tobiashutzler.com. In the coming weeks, we’ll be featuring more of Tobias’ work, including images from a car shoot he did in the California desert using only the moon as a light source…
