According to the Eastern Daylight Time, at around 5 p.m., tropical depression nine was located 430 miles east-southeast of Kingston, Jamaica. The storm had sustained winds of 35 mph, and it was moving at 15 mph. When the sustained winds cross 39 mph, the depression will become a tropical storm. And when the sustained winds cross 74 mph, the tropical storm becomes a hurricane.
