Resolve, an online photo community, makes its debut

Doug Menuez just emailed us about an ambitious new photo blog called Resolve, which describes itself as an online community that “brings together photographers and photo industry professionals of every kind to find ways to keep photography relevant, respected, and profitable.” The blog is hosted by liveBooks and so far features posts by photojournalist Sean Gallagher, who won a travel grant from the Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting for his work in China; the recent LOOK3 photo festival; and a monthly column on working in multimedia by former BBC radio producer Benjamin Chesterton and photojournalist David White, who go the name duckrabbit.

Doug, by the way, has somehow found time to contribute a business column to Resolve, while balancing the care and feeding of his own blog and, you know, his career as a photographer. Maybe he can find a way to bottle and market his energy while he’s at it.
