Tonight: “Presenting Your Work to the New Media Landscape”

.

I’m looking forward to attending this APA/NY event tonight at Calumet Photographic: “Multi-Platform Editing: Presenting Your Work to the New Media Landscape.” Stella Kramer will be moderating a panel discussion on how new technologies and media platforms affect the way photographers’ work is viewed, and how photographers’ should adjust their process as a result.

An interesting subject, with an interesting selection of panelists, including Roberto De Luna, photo editor at Time Out New York; Joe Pritchard, senior photo agent at Vaughan Hannigan; Erin Rabasca, head of art buying at R/GA;
Alex Wright, cofounder and creative director of Dripbook; and Alison Zavos, who publishes the excellent featureshoot.com.

The event is sold out, so if you haven’t already booked, you’ve missed your chance. But I’ll take lots of notes and file a report right here tomorrow. Meanwhile, if you are indeed attending, I hope to see you at the pre-event social.
