After decades in New York City, the soap opera All My Children—which marked its 40th anniversary on January 4—moved to Los Angeles at the end of last year. And Los Angeles magazine has rolled out the red carpet for the relocated residents of Pine Valley. The March 2010 issue will feature a big fashion story starring Susan Lucci (known on the show as Erika Kane and to her legions of loyal fans as La Lucci) and photographed by David Drebin.
“The shoot took place earlier this month on the brand-new set of All My Children, which moved production to Atwater over the Christmas holiday,” wrote Los Angeles style director Laurie Pike this week at the magazine’s Chic Leak blog. “We chose David Drebin to photograph the layout, since his work is so cinematic.”

“Cameron Mathison, Denise Vasi, Rebecca Budig…and Lucci seemed game for anything in front of the cameras,” added Pike.
