Photographer Jorg Badura—who specializes in adventure, sports & recreation, landscape, and automotive—has just launched a blog to complement his online portfolio. “It is meant to have a multimedia base with brief text about my vision, my work, and parts of my life and interests beyond photography,” he explains. “Basically, it’s a place to express myself and will be less focused on the commercial aspect and more on the joy and inspiration of life.”
The content on his blog ranges from production stills to posts on the environment (Jorg is a champion of environmental causes), food, and “Backyard Project,” his ongoing series on the Long Island hamlet of North Sea, where he has a home—”but drawn with a big circle around to include the different beaches, bodies of water, woods, people, landscapes, etc.,” he says.
