Are these ads for Guinness the product of post-production wizardry? In a word, no. Nadav Kander photographed models—the birdhouse, leaves, and spiderweb were made by Makoto Aoki of Swell New York—on location in and around Olympic Park in Washington this past August. The only thing made in post for this campaign, whose tagline is “Some are made of more,” were the fireflies that form the chandelier.
