“I had the pleasure of photographing Natasha Stoynoff for People magazine on October 16. When I got the call for this assignment, I was already booked on a flight to Europe for another project, but I canceled my ticket to make myself available for this opportunity because I felt it was so important. It takes a lot of courage to speak publicly about an assault, and it’s even more brave when the assaulter is a public figure like Donald Trump.

On set, I wanted so very much to make sure that Natasha was cared for and respected. I wanted to honor her courage with the utmost gentleness and to be mindful of her vulnerability. I felt so blessed to have this opportunity, and I wanted to step up and do right by her. I hope that comes through.

Natasha was very nervous but also incredibly charming, insightful, and funny—a true pleasure to be around. We had a wonderful few hours together.

We in the media have the power to give people a voice. I’m so glad that People gave Natasha Stoynoff, and all the other women involved in this controversy, a voice. They need to be heard and not forgotten.

Please join me on November 8 in voting for Hillary Clinton.”
