“this shoot was done 2 days after her wimbledon victory and she came in exhausted. she is a great girl and very in control of the moment, except the night of the u.s. open. i took a few minutes after she finished with the video for the shoot to take some portraits for myself. i could see all she wanted to do was leave, but because of our long standing relationship she said o.k. the first shot i took her guard was down and the pix was overexposed, but there she was …vulnerable.”
