Timothy just finished taping an episode of The View that will air this Friday, April 16. The show is themed “Fashion Friday,” and Donna Karan is also a featured guest.
We can’t give away too many details, but Timothy tells us that he and View hosts Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd, Barbara Walters, and Whoopi Goldberg talk about his portraits of Whoopi over the years and the much-buzzed-about Poise commercials that he directed her in.

They also talk about Match Prints, the book of portraits that Timothy collaborated on with his friend Jim Marshall. As you know, Jim passed away just as he and Timothy were preparing to promote their book, which they were both so proud of and had worked so hard on. With Jim gone, the project has taken on an unexpected poignancy for Timothy, as well as a new significance. “I’m continuing with promoting the book as a tribute to Jim,” he told me today in an email.
The View airs at 11 AM EST on ABC.
