With “Tony Blair on Clinton, Bush and the American Character,” Time scored a major coup—Britain’s former prime minister wrote the essay exclusively for the magazine, adapting it from his new memoir, A Journey. To illustrate the piece, Time‘s photo team chose a portrait of Blair by Nadav Kander. It appears on the cover of the magazine’s U.K. edition and inside the U.S. edition.
