Luca Zordan‘s new book, Children of Israel, now has its own website and is available for preorder. Children of Israel, due next year, is the third in Luca’s ongoing series—the first two were the highly successful Children of China and Children of Africa: South African Edition—centering on the life and times of children in various parts of the world.
From the website: “Children of Israel is a stunning photographic journey capturing Israeli children from every walk of life, set against some of the most beautiful landscapes and architecture in Israel. These powerful, emotive images will highlight the magic, diverse beauty and spirit of hope that is Israel.”
Luca produces the “Children of…” books with award-winning fashion stylist Alethea Gold, and the two of them dedicate considerable time and resources to each of these projects. Their reward is the experiences they have in sharing these children’s lives, even if only briefly, and in aiding kids in need. Luca and Alethea donate all of their photographer and author proceeds to children’s charities—the profits generated by Children of Israel, for example, will be given to the Nurit Absorption Center, which works to enrich the lives of Ethiopian refugee children in Israel.
