
From the buzz online and in print, you’d think that being gay was the biggest news since George W. almost choked to death on a pretzel. That’s how it seems, anyway, if you’ve been following the story of Adam Lambert, the spiky-haired singer from Season 8 of American Idol. Lambert chose to keep his sexuality a secret during the run of the show, maybe out of strategic reasons, maybe because he somehow thought he was entitled to a private personal life. Well, the private part is definitely over now—he sat for an interview with Rolling Stone and a cover portrait with Matthew Rolston. We’d ask that serpent what he’s thinking, but we’re told he doesn’t hiss and tell.
