I’m super excited that the October issue of Vogue is out, because that means I can talk about Liz Von Hoene. Specifically, the 22-page campaign she shot for Neiman Marcus that is on view in the fashion bible.
To see the the images that the Neiman Marcus team selected for the spread, you’ll have to get your paws on a current copy of Vogue. In the meantime, I happily present Liz’s picks from the shoot, which took place in Portland.

Before I show you the rest, a quick note to those of you in the Chicago area: Liz is going to be at Columbia College in Chicago next week to do portfolio reviews (October 8th) and to give a lecture on her career (October 7th) designed to inform and inspire the school’s photography students. Liz’s talk is part of the “Art Works” series. “The Art Works photography lecture series showcases photographers who make pictures for love and for money,” the college’s website indicates. So far, the two-year-old program has featured Saverio Truglia, Sheila Metzner, Vincent Dixon, and our own Jim Fiscus, among others.
