Stockland Martel is pleased to welcome Ace Tan to our team of seasoned photo reps. Ace, who is based in Singapore, will be covering all of Asia, with the exception of Japan, and while she will be the point person in Asia for all categories of our photographers’ work, her focus will be on what are currently the hottest sectors in that market: automotive, beauty, and food.
“We want to be doing the best work in the world,” says Maureen, “and there’s some great work coming out of that region.”
Ace started out in film, which makes her especially key to Stockland Martel as the photo industry increasingly embraces motion. At the start of her career, she did everything from PA work to casting. Eventually, she plunged into the photo world, working as an ad-agency art buyer, and also made her mark on the TV industry, working as a producer. “Ace is very, very smart and really knows the industry,” notes Maureen. “And she has nonstop energy.”
In the Chinese market, Ace will work for Stockland Martel under the aegis of Lunar Films. Elsewhere in Asia, she will operate solely under the umbrella of Stockland Martel. You can reach her at ace [@] stocklandmartel.com.
