This Friday, the Kaune, Sudendorf gallery for contemporary photography in Cologne, Germany, will open an exhibition of Roxanne Lowit‘s work titled “Legendary Privacy: New York 1979–1999.” Madonna, Helmut Newton, Kate Moss, David Bowie, and Andy Warhol are among the many glamoratti from the worlds of art, style, cinema, music, and theater who Roxanne photographed in that two-decade period. So you can expect the opening-night party, on Thursday, to be appropriately fabulous—and you can expect to meet Roxanne, who will be there to celebrate her first solo show in Cologne.
