Are you free this Thursday?

Remember Liz Von Hoene‘s new personal project, “Le Blanc Noir”? Stockland Martel is hosting an exhibition of these enigmatic images at our gallery, and the reception is from 6 to 9 this Thursday, the 22nd. Also on view will be a short film featuring Piper Von Hoene, Liz’s daughter, that was created by Meghan McNeer, who art directed “Le Blanc Noir.” Please feel welcome to stop by. Liz will be there, and I think there might also be an afterparty at one of her favorite downtown boites. (She can give you the details in person.) The Gallery @ Stockland Martel is located 345 E. 18th St., between 1st and 2nd avenues. RSVP to

Liz has pulled out all the stops for this show, by the way, and I know it’s going to look extra spectacular. The production design for the exhibition is by Maria Santana. Printing is by Burn Photo in Atlanta. Framing is by Artifiacts Inc., also in Atlanta. And artist Michael Eudy hung the show.

Here’s the official invitation:
