Michael Wirth photographs French pop singer Camélia Jordana for Gala magazine

Ever since she placed third at the age of 17 in Nouvelle Star, France’s take on British talent competition Pop Idol, Camélia Jordana has been a sensation on the French pop scene. Now 19, she is the star of a lavish 36-page feature in Gala magazine’s Special Beauty Issue, on international newsstands now. Michael Wirth photographed the striking Camélia for the feature, in what was an all-daylight four-day shoot. Styling was by Bertille Chaillet. Makeup was by Cathyanne Mac Allister at B Agency. And Jean-Paul Ealet at Aurelien did the hair. Here’s a look:
