Steven Lippman established an online shop this week to sell editioned prints of his photos—a curated selection centering on the Malibu-based photographer’s interpretations of sun-kissed beach days and surf culture. The images aren’t meant to be documents of a place but rather a visual rendering of what it feels like to be there. They’re atmospheric, almost mystical.
Steven has arranged the prints under three headings: Moments, which draws on photos from Steven’s recent exhibition of the same name; Waves, comprising imagery from a show of his hosted at the Ron Herman men’s store in Malibu; and Instagram, which pulls prime shots from instagram.com/stevenlippman. The prices, starting at $250, keep the work within reach, and Steven’s studio will be adding images each week.
