Did you produce an outstanding motion piece in the past year? AI-AP wants to know. They’ve issued their call for entries for the third annual International Motion Art Awards and are looking for the best photography, illustration, and animation and design in motion. The competition is open to submissions worldwide.
This year’s jurors are photographer and director Craig Cutler, who is represented as a director by Chelsea Pictures; Jeremy Dimmock and Bob Zagorskis, founders of Polyester; Matthew Duntemann, senior vice president at Nickelodeon; photographer and director Stephen Mallon; Brian Palmer and Brad Palmer, founders of Surround; Stephen Price, editor at Stash Media; producer and director Kevin Michael Reed of Kevin Michael Reed Studio, Inc.; Ted Royer, chief creative officer at Droga 5; and Marcel Yunes, chief creative officer at BBDO.
Winners of the IMMA3 will be feted at this year’s Big Talk event on November 5 at the SVA Theater in New York City, where their reel will be screened and they will participate in a panel discussion. Additionally, and the AI-AP website will feature the winning entries in its archive, the AI-AP will promote them through social media and in Motion Arts Pro Daily.
