Matthias Clamer photographs Brandon Armstrong, whose videos parodying NBA stars have made him an Internet sensation, for ESPN The Magazine

For the new issue of ESPN The Magazine, Matthias Clamer shot Brandon Armstrong, a basketball fan with a serious comic streak who has made a name for himself with his viral videos impersonating NBA stars like Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. As the editors put it, Armstrong “has blazed an entirely new path to hoops glory by parodying the NBA’s finest.” Read the article here: “The Great Pretender.”
