Some of you have seen this already, but just in case: As PDN’s Dan Havlik has reported, Vincent’s short film Cabbie launched his “Behind the Still” video contest last week. The “7-chapter communal story contest is sponsored by Canon and Vimeo.
“Canon gave Laforet a still image of a cab and then asked him to interpret it into a 2-3 minute short film,” Havlik writes. “Laforet’s film, which was shot with a Canon EOS 7D digital SLR, ends on a still image.”
