New work: Nadav Kander’s nudes for More magazine

“Can a great photographer’s discerning eye transform a woman’s feelings about her body?” That’s the question More magazine asks in a photo feature titled “My Body as a Work of Art,” published in its June issue. The great photographer they chose was Nadav, and their request was that he make portraits of five women posed as classic nudes. Here’s one of them:

Later, More‘s Emily Listfield interviewed the women about whether the experience changed them. “The shoot felt similar to my wedding day, with so much focus on me: the nervousness and questioning about whether I was doing the right thing,” one of them explained. “Afterward, I knew I’d done something permanent and everlasting, something I was proud of.”

Definitely some great work. I hope to do some similar quality work in the near future.
