A reminder from our friends at American Illustration/American Photography: The deadline to enter work for consideration for American Photography 29 is January 25. As in previous years, AP has lined up an impressive panel of judges: Sam Barzilay, creative director, United Photo Industries; Antonio de Luca, art director, Self Publish, Be Happy; MaryAnne Golon, assistant managing editor and director of photography, The Washington Post; Whitney Johnson, The New Yorker; Jody Quon, New York; Caroline Smith, Marie Claire; and Casey Tierney, Real Simple.
“Regarded as the books of record, American Photography 29 and American Illustration 32 are still produced in all their defiant, large-format, luxurious, hard cover glory, offering high visibility and well-deserved recognition. Submit your best work to be presented in the books, one image per page, and online in The Archive for all the world to see. The AI-AP annuals are the first and foremost go-to resources for art directors, designers and editors. Be seen where it matters most.”
