“Dexter” kills ’em at the BDA Design Awards

Jim Fiscus’ photography for Dexter proved to be a big hit at the Promax/BDA Design Awards in New York last week. The Showtime series, in which Michael C. Hall stars as a morally stringent serial killer, took home one silver award and five golds, including one in the “Photography for Print” category. “But, of course, the photography was integral for the win in all categories,” notes Showtime creative director Michael Hathaway.

“We’ve been working with Showtime since 2004, and I’m blessed to call them a client,” says Stockland Martel rep Dana Eudy. “It actually feels more like family, and I tell them this all the time. We’ve been lucky to have had a consistent team—Larry Merritt, Michael Hathaway, Howard Sherman, Peter Kellner, Myriam Lopez, Peter Gatto, Peter Oppenheim, our producer Eric Rasmussen, and, of course, Jim’s crew—which is such a great way to create amazing work. I love these guys and gals. They make work not feel like work!”
