The luxury hotels that will make up the Baha Mar resort and casino, set amid the white-sand beaches of Nassau, the Bahamas, won’t be completed till 2014, but the branding process—key to building buzz for the project—has already begun. In fact, SK+G, a Las Vegas–based advertising and marketing agency specializing in working with the hospitality industry’s “titans of leisure”—recently commissioned Steven Lippman to shoot a big print campaign and direct a spot to promote Baha Mar.
The resort will comprise hotels by Grand Hyatt, Mondrian, Casino Resort, Sheraton, Nicklaus, and Rosewood, so the photos had to work for each of those specific brands but also support the Baha Mar brand.
