PDN tours Kwaku Alston’s Venice Beach studio
In “The Studio Issue” of PDN, published this month, Kwaku Alston takes readers inside his Venice Beach, California, workspace—a cute two-story building on Abbot Kinney Boulevard that he purchased 13 years ago. At the time, the area was known for grit and crime, and Kwaku recalls that after he bought the place, people told him, “Your career is going to go to hell.” But not only did Abbot Kinney thrive, Kwaku’s career did too. You can read PDN‘s interview with him at pdnonline.com.
