Outside magazine asked Jeff Lipsky to photograph Norman Ollestad and his son, Noah Ollestad, who share a passion for surfing, for a feature in its Adventure Issue, on newsstands now. Norman is the author of the bestselling book Crazy for the Storm: A Memoir of Survival, in which he wrote about being the only survivor, at age 11, of a plane crash that killed his father. For this issue of Outside, he writes about surfing with his son in Mexico.
