Pratt Institute names Timothy Greenfield-Sanders one of its Legends 2015 honorees
What a terrific honor: Brooklyn’s Pratt Institute—whose famed alumni include Robert Mapplethorpe, Peter Max, Daniel Clowes, and Jan Groover—has selected Timothy Greenfield-Sanders as one of its Legends 2015!
Legends 2015 is “an annual scholarship benefit honoring icons of art and design whose works have helped shape the cultural landscape.” A gala event will be held October 29 at the Mandarin Oriental New York to raise funds for merit and need-based scholarships. “Ninety percent of Pratt students receive financial aid to pursue their education,” according to a Pratt press release on Legends 2015.
In addition to Timothy, Legends 2015 will honor chef Daniel Boulud, interior designer Nina Campbell, and award-winning architects Tod Williams and Billie Tsien.”
