Rangefinder’s April cover story explores “Photographer You Should Know” Liz Von Hoene’s approach to lighting her elegant, whimsical images
We were thrilled when Rangefinder magazine approached us about interviewing Liz Von Hoene for the cover of their April issue—she’s the “Photographer You Should Know” in their Lighting Issue—and are just as excited about the published article, now on newsstands.
In addition to illuminating her approach to shooting for Badgley Mischka, Rebecca Moses, and La Marca, associate editor Libby Peterson spoke with Liz about the hard work and dedication that have resulted in her successful career as a fashion photographer based in Atlanta and the trademark “wink” that she brings to all of her work.
“The happy images suit me and have always suited me,” Liz tells the magazine, “but I didn’t realize they would do so well and become the ‘Liz thing.’ I’ve embraced it and look for those opportunities—they’ve become my favorite images to work on.”
You can read the entire feature here: “The Elegance of Simplicity.”
