“We’ll do some smiles and some badass,” says Nancy Weisman, senior deputy photo editor of ESPN The Magazine. We’re in Cleveland, on the set of a cover shoot with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Jim Fiscus is the photographer, and he’s doing multiple setups: portraits of the NBA star alone and with his teammates. There’s a lot of laughter on the set and a sharp sense of purpose.
