Jason “Giblin” Hindley was recently commissioned by Publicis Paris to shoot environmental still lifes for a multi-country ad campaign for the Dokker, a minivan by Romanian automaker Dacia. The ads promote the van’s incredible cargo capacity by way of Jason’s photos, which humorously illustrate the quantity of items you can carry as well as the van’s € 7990 modest price.
Jason worked with creative director Fabrice Delacourt, art director Yves-Eric Deboey, art buyer Flore Silberfeld, and set designer Grégoire Lemoine.
“The brick numbers were created for real,” notes Keiko Hindley, Jason’s studio manager. “And because the campaign would run in 12 different countries with different currencies and prices, we had to shoot 0 to 9 in each position. It was a logistical nightmare, but Grégoire and his team worked it out meticulously!”
