Lauren Greenfield to lecture April 17 at Wieden+Kennedy in Portland
Lauren Greenfield.
On Thursday, April 17, at the Portland offices of award-winning ad agency Wieden+Kennedy, Photolucida is presenting “Lauren Greenfield—From Gordon Gekko to The Queen of Versailles: A Journey in Pictures, Film, and Culture.” The lecture is sponsored by Canon Explorers of Light.
Lauren, who is working on a major museum exhibition and retrospective book titled Wealth: The Influence of Affluence (the book will be published next year), will be showing and discussing her photographs and clips of her films.
The lecture—scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. at the Weiden+Kennedy Atrium, 224 NW 13th Ave.—is free and open to the public. To reserve a seat, email [email protected].
