Award-winning arts journal Vallum makes Tobias Hutzler’s photography the focus of its new issue

Independent magazines increasingly offer exciting opportunities for photographers to showcase their work, and Vallum is no exception. The magazine, a four-time National Magazine Awards nominee and one of Canada’s top poetry and art journals, shaped its new issue around Tobias Hutzler‘s photography.

The theme was speed, “the defining aspect of the contemporary world,” write the editors. And the results—which juxtapose Tobias’ images with evocative writing—are truly lovely. Tobias would like to thank Leigh Kotsilidis, managing editor, and Thanh Pham, art editor, for their beautiful work.
