“I needed this to be good, as in my opinion my first sitting was not good enough,” wrote Nadav Kander of these portraits of Norman Foster. “A wonderful hour talking about light. A man taken by surprise by these photographs. A formative time for me watching him just stare at the end result without saying a word. Then a nod and a smile. A good lesson. Shhhh, then talk. Still cycling in the Alps at his age. The Alps ain’t easy. My hat off to him.”
