More “Star Trek Into Darkness” publicity images by Art Streiber

As we mentioned in December, Art Streiber shot key art for the highly anticipated Star Trek Into Darkness, which comes out this summer. As he explains below, he produced something like 11,000 frames in one day.

“My crew and I were fortunate to spend a day on a sound stage on the Sony lot last April with the entire cast of the new Star Trek,” says Art.

“We completed 48 different setups over the course of nine non-stop hours, shooting singles, doubles, and groups for publicity, marketing, and the movie poster. The most exciting aspect of working on a project like this and creating more than 11,000 images for Paramount Studios, is waiting for the slow release of the final artwork.”

Most recently, Entertainment Weekly published two of Art’s photographs for the dual-cover February 15 issue.

Adds Art, “Everything about the JJ Abrams project (including the use of my imagery) is top secret, so I have no idea what’s coming…!”
